Why Is GHMJ Adjusting Its Publication Fee?
Since the previous fee adjustment in March 2023, GHMJ has continued to invest in strengthening its editorial and publication services while maintaining its commitment to open-access dissemination of research.
Over the past three years, the journal has absorbed increasing costs associated with:
- Editorial management and manuscript processing;
- Copyediting, typesetting, and publication production;
- DOI registration and metadata management;
- Plagiarism screening and publication ethics oversight;
- Website maintenance and digital publishing infrastructure;
- Long-term archiving and preservation of published content;
- Compliance with evolving indexing and scholarly publishing standards;
- The revised publication fee will enable GHMJ to continue providing high-quality publishing services while supporting the long-term sustainability of the journal.
Supporting a Sustainable Peer-Review Ecosystem
The quality and integrity of scholarly publishing depend greatly on the dedication of peer reviewers. GHMJ is fortunate to be supported by reviewers who voluntarily contribute their expertise and time to evaluate manuscripts and help maintain the scientific standards of the journal.
As part of GHMJ's commitment to sustaining a rigorous and high-quality peer-review process, the journal will continue supporting reviewer recognition initiatives, including publication opportunities and other forms of academic recognition available to eligible reviewers. These initiatives are intended to acknowledge the invaluable contributions of reviewers while strengthening the long-term sustainability of the journal's scholarly community.
Our Commitment to the Global Health Community
The publication fee adjustment has been made after careful consideration and reflects our commitment to maintaining a sustainable, accessible, and high-quality publishing platform for researchers around the world.
