About the Journal

GHMJ (Global Health Management Journal) is an open-access, biannual, peer-reviewed, online journal with a strong emphasize on health and applied science in health. The name of Global Health Management Journal was selected considering global health issues as the emerging trend around 2017 when GHMJ was initiated. The notion of management was added to global health to cover a broader area of interest, not only on the health science itself but also its management aspects.

The GHMJ provides multiple platforms for authors in presenting their works, including original research paper, systematic review, best practice, perspectives, and photo essay in health-related topics. The journal is published by Yayasan Aliansi Cendekiawan Indonesia Thailand, also known as Indonesian Scholars' Alliance, based in Semarang, Central Java, Indonesia. Under INSCHOOL as an education corporation, GHMJ serves to accommodate health scholars and practitioners to publish innovative and good-quality papers as strong evidences to support policy makers in developing health program.

The GHMJ was registered as an online journal under the National Research and Innovation Agency of Indonesia since 19 June 2017 with ISSN numbered ISSN 2580-9296 (ONLINE). To expand the user's engagement, the journal is indexed by Directory of Open Access Journal (DOAJ), Google Scholar, OCLC WorldCat, and Portal Garuda Indonesia Publication Index.

The metadata is archived at the Index Copernicus International. The last publication is updated at JournalTOCs and Scilit (a comprehensive and open-access scholarly database developed and maintained by MDPI). All our published papers have been stored in Semantic Scholar and OpenAlex, significantly enhancing their visibility and citation potential through AI-driven discoverability.

We are a member of Crossref, therefore, Authors of GHMJ (Global Health Management Journal) can claim their published articles at Base Search and connect it with their ORCID. Also, visit GHMJ's online catalogs from universities and librarian overseas. 

Initially, there was no article processing charges, submissions fees, or any other costs required to submit and publish articles at GHMJ (Global Health Management Journal). However, this journal charges a publication fee of 69.00 USD (US Dollar) or 1,000,000 IDR (Indonesia Rupiah) or 2,300 THB (Thailand Baht) for the submission after 15 February 2023. This includes the provision of online tools for editors and authors, article production and hosting, liaison with abstracting and indexing services, website and server maintenance, and customer services.

Everyone is invited to submit an article at any time (no deadline for submission). Once the article is editorially accepted, it will be published as Online First before inclusion in an issue.
