October 2025 Special Issue: Non-Communicable Diseases Across the Lifespan
Submission Deadline: October 31, 2025 | Once the article is editorially accepted, it will be published as Online First before inclusion in an issue.
OverviewGlobal Health Management Journal (GHMJ) invites authors, practitioners, and communities to submit Original Research, Reviews, Case Studies, Perspectives, and Photo Essays for our October 2025 Special Issue.
This issue will focus on Non-Communicable Diseases (NCDs) such as osteoporosis, stroke, diabetes, cardiovascular diseases, and cancer. While older persons carry the heaviest burden, NCDs affect all age groups, making them a critical global health challenge that demands multi-level strategies and cross-generational perspectives.
- Global Impact: NCDs account for over 70% of global deaths annually, with disproportionate effects in low- and middle-income countries.
- Beyond Aging: Though often associated with older adults, NCDs can begin early in life, influenced by genetics, lifestyle, social determinants, and environment.
- Policy & Practice: Addressing NCDs requires strong health systems, community-based approaches, and innovative technologies that ensure prevention, care, and healthy aging for all.
This Special Issue will bring together diverse perspectives to inform practice, shape policy, and inspire action across generations.
