This very first edition of 2025's Global Health Management Journal marks our 8th anniversary, featuring a diverse collection of articles addressing urgent global health challenges. The editorial highlights the critical need for global health strategies to mitigate the effects of climate change on human health. A perspective piece analyzes Thailand’s PM 2.5 policies, shedding light on overlooked environmental health concerns. The best practice article explores the potential of Crab Abon as a sustainable fishery product in Indonesia.

The research section covers a broad range of topics, including the psychosocial effects of Indonesian soap operas on Malaysian millennials, the impact of HIV education in schools, and the quality of life in heart failure patients with obesity paradox. Additional studies examine personal hygiene among traditional jamu handlers, tuberculosis transmission risks in children, and the antioxidant and anti-proliferative effects of Murraya koenigii (L.) leaves on breast cancer cells.

This edition reflects GHMJ’s commitment to advancing knowledge and fostering innovative solutions in global health.
