Health Forum & International Seminar (HFIS)

More than ever before, the global pandemic of Covid-19 has impacted our communication. Universities managed to ditch face-to-face lectures and switch their teaching methods virtually. This situation leads to significant challenges for the higher education community worldwide, especially for those who have little experience with online learning may. On top of that, remote teaching sometimes leads to miscommunication between students and teachers.

As one of the leading institutions in the health education and facilitator for Indonesia and Thailand, Indonesian Scholars' Alliance and Poltekkes Kemenkes Palangka Raya (Health Polytechnic of Palangka Raya) will organize a Health Forum and International Seminar (HFIS) with main theme The New Normal: Creating A Pleasant Virtual Communication.

This seminar provides space for all students and education professionals worldwide to respond to the problem of communication barriers during virtual learnings. At the end of the seminar, targeted participants are expected to enhance their communication skills and bring virtual communication to a pleasant experience level.
